  • Who can participate?

    i-genius Young Singing Stars programme is open to all children between 4 to 15 year of age in three categories: i-genius Primary – 4 – 7 yrs, i-genius Junior - 8 – 11 yrs and i-genius Senior - 12-15yrs.

    The category to which the participant will belong will be determined by the Date of Birth of the participant calculated by the website on the date of registration on the i-genius website.

    The child should not have turned 16 years of age on the date of registration, should be studying in government recognized schools including private, public or national open schools/homeschools all over India. The child must be an Indian national or a NRI, resident in India for the duration of the Programme

  • What is the duration of the program?

    The Programme duration is from July 24, 2015 till December 10, 2015. The recording and production of the Album/Single will be done after the completion of Phase 4 post December 10, 2015.

  • What is the last date of registration?

    The last date of participation in i-genius Young Singing Stars is November 8, 2015.

  • Is there any participation fee?

    There is no participation fee to participate in this programme.

  • Do I need to be a Max Life Insurance policyholder?

    No, you don’t need to be a Max Life policy holder to participate in the programme.

  • Do I need to buy a policy to participate?

    No, you don’t need to buy a Max Life policy to participate in the programme.

  • What is the reward on winning the i-genius Young Singing Stars?

    Grand First Prize: 7 winners – an Album contract with Universal Music India, 1 each for Junior and Senior category.
    5 top winners from  Primary category will be featured in a music video.

    Second Prize: 8 winners – a Singles contract with Universal Music India, 4 each for Junior and Senior categories

    Consolation Prize: 600 winners – CD hampers

  • What are the different modes of registration?

    i) Children can register for this Programme through their parents/ guardian by filling up a registration form Online via the Website www.i-genius.org.
    ii) Through other digital media (i.e. other websites where the programme is publicized);
    iii) Max Life representatives including distributors of Max Life;
    iv) Any other source that Max Life decides to add at any stage in the programme

  • What are the different modes of Song Submission?

    Song submission can be done in through any of the following media:
    i. By calling the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) Number +91 92500 32222 and following the process as indicated on the call.
    ii. By submitting the audio recording on www.igenius.org.

  • What are the various Phases of the programme to select winners?
    For Primary Category
    Phase 1:
    • Online via website www.igenius.org • One minute Audio submissions on IVR no +91 92500 32222
    Phase 2:
    • Top 5 entries from Phase 1 attend the grand finale and feature in a music video.
    For Junior & Senior Category
    A comprehensive 4 - Phase programme Phase 1 ::

    • Online via website www.igenius.org. A username and password will be sent to all registered participants on their registered mobile and email id.
    • One minute Audio submissions on IVR no +91 92500 32222

    Phase 2 ::
    Digital auditions –Short-listed participants from Phase 1 will qualify for Phase 2 which will be an evaluation round by our experts jury members. (Only for senior & junior)

    Phase 3 ::
    Mentoring by our brand ambassador with shortlisted candidates for Grand Finale round

    Phase 4 ::
    Grand Finale – Performances by shortlisted participants for selection of final winners by our expert jury members
  • What are the song Submission Guidelines?

    The song submission can be in Hindi language only. The parents / guardians of the Participant should ensure that the Song Submission is:

    1) Not accompanied by any background music. It has to be singing submission only;
    2) Is not more than 1 minute;
    3) Is not defamatory in its content;
    4) Does not contain any obscene, blasphemous, libelous or any other unlawful material;
    5) Only from a valid mobile number (song submissions from landline numbers will not be accepted).

  • How will the participants be intimated about his/her selection to next round?

    The results will be conveyed to shortlisted participants via email on their registered email id with i-genius.

  • What if I don't remember my password?

    The participant can retrieve his/her password by entering user-id on www.igenius.org login screen.

  • What if I don't remember my user id & password?

    The participant can retrieve both by entering verification details on the www.igenius.org login screen. The user id needs to be retrieved first to get the password.

  • Is Max Life Insurance is going to reimburse the travel and stay expenses for the participants for Grand Finale?

    Max Life Insurance will make arrangements for travel, boarding and lodging for only the Grand Finale participants and one parent/legal guardian. The entire cost of these arrangements will be borne by Max Life Insurance.

  • What if I don't have a mobile?

    Having a mobile phone is a mandatory requirement and accordingly has to be filled in to complete registration.

  • What if I don't have an internet access?

    The participant has to ensure arrangements to access the website to complete the registration process and other stages even if they have auditioned via mobile. Once mobile submission is done, they will get a user id and password for online access.

  • How will the results be announced?

    The results will be conveyed to shortlisted participants via email on their registered email id with i-genius.
