This world is like school and we learn each n every day here. But the firstthing that child learns is from his mother. The learning starts in mother womb, child learns the basic principles of life first at his home and then fromsurrounding. It becomes a building block of his life. Mother has a great impacton child progress, positive teaching play a big part in child’s life. Childlearns speaking, interacting, moving, and all basics from his mother. Thecharacter of a child is more often depends on mother teaching and his firstschool that is his home.
The role of a teacher in a student’s life is very crucial right from the timewhen a child joins a day care centre to the stage when he / she takes a stepforward towards establishing a professional career. The child is taken care of,from morning to evening by teachers who feed them, play with them and take careof their every need like a mother when the child is toddler & goes toplayschool or daycare. Teachers become a child’s trusted friend and teach kidsto open their minds to new activities, thoughts and instrikeation.
Like everyone said mother teacher her child how to walk, talk, the day a childis born. She is the one who is responsible for his character building, inculcating moral values, difference between right n wrong, love, caring, sharing, being kind to others, respecting elders etc. But a teacher has moreimportant role as she will be responsible for the kind of person a child willbecome. Teacher with the warmth & love of a mother can motivate a child. She can give confidence that he can achieve anything in his life; he can makehis dream come true. A teacher with love & discipline moulds a child in abeautiful person ‘coz for a young child his teacher is everything. We all musthave experienced our kids telling us that my teacher told me this so it has tobe right. In my case my son’s grade 3 teacher was more than a teacher to kids. She showered them with motherly love, was strict when she had to but she toldall the kids that they can achieves their dreams if they put their heart intoit. She knew my son was bright so she always told him I want u to be anastronaut. Since that day my son has dreamt of being an astronaut n he believesthat one day he will go in space. This teacher not only gave a goal to herstudents but to mothers also. She gave an insight that we can do so much thoughbeing home makers. Her name is Radhika Godya. I know it’s difficult to findsuch teachers these days but a teacher & mother together can make abeautiful human being out of a child. Mother by being a teacher at home and ateacher by being mother & nurturing at school.
Upasana Anand Kinra:
It has been very aptly said that a teacher is a mother in school and motheris a teacher at home………..teachers have a bond with her students which is verysimilar to the bond of a mother at home. She nurtures them and sees themgrowing in front of… her eyes and it gives her immense pleasure if her studentsgrow up to be successful in life. She is as proud of their accomplishments asis a mother to her students well being is of prime importance and that is thereason why “guru-shishya’ relationship has been placed so highly even in ourholy strikeures. There may be some people who are exceptions and give a badname to this profession but let me assure you that they are very few. Teachersplay an important role in developing a child’s personality and it is thisinvolvement and dedication that makes the students also love her so much. Don’twe all remember our teachers so fondly even today???
Infact I would want to share my own experience when I came to know recentlyabout my school’s science teacher suffering from cancer and saw her pics whereshe looked so weak I had tears in my eyes and couldn’t stop crying as I feltvery helpless and felt like doing something for her. I shared this instancewith u only to reiterate the fact that no matter what, a teacher has animportant place in our lives and can b equated with that of a mother ))
A mother is teacher is a 100% true statement, no one can deny this since themother is the one who teaches her child to stand and walk among the group, without her help the child will not be able to take a confident step forwardinto this world. Every child differs in behavior and mannerism depends on howwell the mother has been able to teach them so a mother is a teacher. Thesecond statement that the teacher is a mother is true as well. If a teacherdoes not have mothers hear, she will not be able to interact with the child inthe school nicely, before being a teacher she needs to be mother to understandthe needs and moods of the child. She should have love and affection of motherand that doesn’t mean she should not be strict….mothers also are but a teacherin school has a heart of a mother. I remember my class teacher when I was inclass eight…….once when I was sick she nursed me like a mother made me eat fromher lunchbox with her own hands…until my parents came to take me back home andI guess all teachers do this…so how can we deny that a teacher is not a mother.
I totally agree with both the statements.
A mother is a teacher at home – because she is the only one who teaches theways of world, the only person who can develop us pragmatically in alldirections because she knows our best and worst and our capabilities to stretchourselves, we keep on… learning different lessons till we alive. As everyindividual is different so only mother can sense that difference, what Ipersonally feel…so yes I agree she is the best teacher for a child!
A teacher is a mother at school- truly said as a child spend his/her life’smost precious time with them, a teacher can be a mother only if she knows thatstudents learn best when they are involved, when they feel loved and cared, notjudged by scores and ranking. If she knows that talking with them can helprather than creating pressure to produce the best results. If she tries to knowroot cause of child’s negative behavior or results, if she could de-stress themand if she knows that the teacher is the window through which students will seetheir future. Then only we can say yes a teacher is a mother at school…!
